Free money is available for hard-working, future college students. Local scholarships opened up in December and most are still available. Seniors can continue to take advantage of these opportunities by submitting applications as soon as possible.

Where do students find all the local scholarships?

Scholarships can be accessed in student’s okcollegestart.org profile.  To get help accessing the site or to get an updated list of available scholarships, students can ask Mrs. Bell or Mrs. Shelton at the high school office.

During the last school year,  $1,323,958 was awarded from universities, technical schools, military, local organizations, businesses, family endowments and memorial scholarships just to students at Elk City High School.

  • Elk City Council of the Arts – March 10
  • Elk City Fall Festival of the Arts – March 13
  • Southwest Farm & Home – March 13
  • PEO – March 22
  • Kiwanis Club – March 23
  • Sherry Nutley Memorial Scholarship – March 24
  • Moran Equipment Co – March 28
  • Elk City Education Association – March 28
  • Kelli O’Hara Fine Arts Scholarship – March 29
  • Rotary Club – March 29
  • Shelter Insurance – March 31
  • GPRMC Health Careers – March 31
  • Art Harris GPB Memorial – March 31
